Thymus praecox 'Coccineus' is a low-growing, evergreen groundcover with fine, aromatic green foliage and stunning deep pink to red flowers that bloom in late spring and early summer. This compact herbaceous plant is ideal for rock gardens, sunny borders, group plantings, and as groundcover between paving stones or cobblestones. Thymus praecox 'Coccineus' grows best in a sunny location in well-drained, chalky soil. The plant is low-maintenance, drought-resistant, winter-hardy, and attractive to bees and butterflies.
