Luzula sylvatica , also known as woodrush, is a robust, evergreen ornamental grass with broad, glossy, dark green leaves. This perennial is particularly suitable for shady borders, under trees and shrubs, and in natural gardens, where it provides structure and tranquility year-round. Luzula sylvatica thrives in partial to full shade, is low-maintenance, and very winter-hardy. Thanks to its dense growth and natural appearance, it makes an excellent ground cover for difficult, shady spots in the garden.
