Protea magnifica (Queen Protea)

Protea magnifica, the 'Queen Protea', has a broad flower head with a downy, almost woolly heart. Where an ordinary bouquet has often been travelling for days, this one goes straight from the grower to your door. Cut the stem at an angle, remove the lower leaves and place it in a little water with cut-flower food; once finished, hang it upside down to dry for a lasting decoration.
