I thought for a long time about how to change this. The result is a free consultation tool, with no ads, no forced links to other places. Stay on the site, ask your questions, and get a useful answer. Nothing more.

The problem I see every day

Those who sell plants online usually show you a catalog. You search, scroll, read product descriptions. But if you don't already know what you want, a catalog doesn't help you—it confuses you.

Those who sell plants in a physical nursery have the advantage of consultation. You go in, describe your situation, and they advise you. But the nursery closes at 6 PM, doesn't answer on Saturday evenings, and isn't online.

I always thought there was a better way.

What I've built

I've integrated a botanical consultant—I call him Botanico—into my shop, who works exactly as a real-life expert would.

You don't need to know the plant's name. You don't need to know technical terms. Describe your situation in your own words:

"I have a bathroom with no windows, I want something green" "I'm looking for a plant that won't die if I forget to water it" "I have a cat, I want something colorful but non-toxic"

Botanico understands, asks the right questions if needed, and advises you on the suitable plant—not the one I have the most interest in selling, but the right one for you.

Why... it's simple:

I know it seems counterintuitive. A store that tells you "that plant isn't for you" risks losing a sale.

But I prefer to be straightforward: if a plant isn't suitable for your situation, I'll tell you. If I don't have what you're looking for at the moment, I'll tell you that too.

Those who receive a useful answer—even if they don't buy that day—come back. And when they come back, they already know they can trust me.
