Thymus praecox 'Purple Beauty' is a low-growing, evergreen groundcover with fine, aromatic green foliage and beautiful purple flowers that bloom in late spring and early summer. This compact herbaceous plant is ideal for rock gardens, sunny borders, group plantings, and as groundcover between paving or stones. Thymus praecox 'Purple Beauty' grows best in a sunny location in well-drained, chalky soil. The plant is low-maintenance, drought-resistant, winter-hardy, and very attractive to bees and butterflies.
