Nepeta × faassenii , also known as catnip, is a strong and profusely flowering perennial with aromatic gray-green foliage and numerous lavender-blue flowers from late spring until well into summer. This popular plant is ideal for borders, edgings, and beds, where it provides a loose, natural look and adds long-lasting color. Nepeta × faassenii prefers a sunny location and well-drained soil, is low-maintenance, and very winter-hardy. It also attracts many bees and butterflies and is highly drought-resistant.
