I've thought long and hard about this, and despite calculating everything carefully, I realize it's not easy at all to create a user-friendly system that's also logistically feasible for the grower and affordable for the customer.
Hydroculture is generally more expensive than traditional soil growing. It's also widely misunderstood and rarely offered for that reason. But what really matters are the facts:

We've concluded that offering a decorative outer pot is simply not possible — everyone has different tastes and there are thousands of options. Fortunately, pots are available everywhere.
What do you really need for hydroculture?

You'll also need:
- A waterproof inner pot sized to fit your plant and your decorative outer pot
- Enough clay pebbles to fill the pot around and beneath the plant
- A water level meter so you always know when to add water
- And something very important that you won't easily find in a regular shop: a hydroculture fertiliser that not only feeds your plant but also regulates pH, protects against fungal and bacterial attacks, and does much more for your plant's health
