Blues

My neighborhood shop

In this fast-paced and ever-changing world, it’s easy to feel alone. With new technologies, online shopping, and the rise of social networks—which often lack true "social" connection—we tend to isolate ourselves. Ironically, the more digital connections we have, the more we can feel disconnected.

One of the reasons I started my online shop was to stand out from the crowd and the impersonal, corporate giants. I want my store to feel like a neighborhood shop, where you used to go not just to buy things, but to have a friendly chat with the shopkeeper, who almost became like a friend.

The shopkeeper knew a little about you, genuinely cared about your needs, and wasn’t only focused on making a sale. They were part of the community, and their work was driven not by profit margins but by a desire to support and enrich the people around them.

That’s what I aim to do with my shop: combine the benefits of modern technology with a personal, human approach. I offer my availability, my advice, and try to create something that bridges the old and the new. I truly believe that to move forward, we must honor and learn from the past. There’s no real progress without understanding where we came from.

If you’re already a customer, you probably know this: I use technology, but I try not to let it use me. I want to be more than just an online seller. I won’t ever become a giant in the e-commerce world, but that’s not my goal. I just want to keep my small shop alive and continue doing what I love.

PS: Even Blues, my cat, agrees and he has a nose for these things. That's why you see his photo here.
