Unhurried

While I was writing the title of this blog, I paused for a moment to reflect... What am I referring to? Who am I to suggest this? I, who am always in a rush and leave things to the last minute, just like, I fear, most of my readers. But that doesn't stop me from pursuing this idea.

During the last holiday season, I didn't do anything special in my shop: no advertisements, special discounts, or typically Christmas-related products. Yet, the beauty of plants is that they are, in themselves, extraordinary gifts. They are gifts from nature to us, but we often fail to appreciate them fully, perhaps because we don't completely understand them.

My gift to you is striving to keep prices as low as possible without sacrificing the quality of the products and my service. I believe this is a way to show appreciation for those who choose to trust my shop.

But how wonderful would it be to face the holiday season without rushing, preparing our gifts in advance, and avoiding the stress of delayed deliveries? I already know this hope might not resonate with the general public, but I like to think that those who follow me and know me can appreciate this vision.

Imagine: organizing gifts in advance, avoiding the frenzy of last-minute shopping. Especially with plants or our terrariums, taking the time to learn how they work, finding the perfect spot for them with your loved ones. Perhaps, in the process, saving not just stress but also some money.

And then, plants aren't just gifts for others: they're gifts for ourselves too. They remind us to slow down, appreciate the beauty of small things, and take care of something alive. Gifting a plant is like saying: “Here's a piece of nature, take care of it, and it will reward you with its beauty and energy.”

I'd like to propose this idea: for the next holiday season, think about your gifts with more calmness. See plants not just as objects but as gestures of love towards the recipient and yourself. And if you choose my shop, know that I will do my best to make your experience pleasant, simple, and, above all, unhurried.
