Persicaria bistorta 'Superba' is a robust and profusely flowering perennial with fresh green foliage and striking, deep pink to purplish-red flower spikes that bloom from late spring to midsummer. This cultivar is ideal for moist borders, natural gardens, and pond edges, where it adds height, structure, and an intense splash of color. Persicaria bistorta 'Superba' grows best in a sunny to partially shaded location in well-moist, fertile soil. The plant is low-maintenance, very hardy, and attracts bees and butterflies.
