**Isotoma fluviatilis**, also known as blue stars, is a beautiful, low-growing ground cover with fine light blue flowers. This hardy plant blooms for a long time from spring to autumn and forms a dense carpet of green and blue, ideal for between stepping stones, in rockeries or as a decorative alternative to grass. At just 5-10cm tall it grows quickly, requires little maintenance and tolerates light trampling – perfect for a subtle splash of colour in the garden!
